It’s been a tough few years. The truth is, I can no longer juggle doing free work for the love of journalism while also keeping a roof over my head.

Previous sponsors have faced significant financial setbacks and could no longer support me (we still have great relationships and speak regularly). It’s a tough reality but one that many freelancers face in this unpredictable industry. I am at a crossroads—either return to corporate grind and lose my ability to bring you news as as I do now, or find an alternative.

I would like to be able to return to in-person trial coverage as I did with the Russiagate trials: Durham- Sussman v. USA, Danchenko v. USA, as well as Bannon's J6 trial, for example. Additionally, I have toured studios to secure potential podcast spaces. One professional studio whose biggest client is Fox News quoted me at over $3,000 for just one full production half-day in the studio to cover two 1-hour podcasts with guests. That said, I am still continuing to look for other full-production studios. Some of your favorite podcasts have major backing.

I cannot be full-blown news, reporting, social media, and media hits without your support. Additionally, if I were to utilize a full-production studio, the cost of equipment, studio, and production—all adds up, especially when there are no guarantees about the outcome.
