In honor of Mrs. Cherilyn Minnis’s 58 years of dedication to education, we are raising funds for a memorial scholarship to be awarded in 2027. This scholarship is being established through the support and partnership of the Class of 2007 and other individuals and groups who wish to help honor her legacy.
As an English teacher, Mrs. Minnis inspired generations of students and made a lasting impact on everyone she taught, including members of the Class of 2007. The lessons she shared, the encouragement she offered, and the lives she touched continue to be remembered and celebrated. This scholarship will honor her lifelong commitment to education while helping support a student’s educational goals.
We welcome contributions from classmates, former students, friends, family, community members, and everyone whose life was touched by Mrs. Minnis. Every contribution, regardless of the amount, will help us work toward this meaningful memorial scholarship.
