Malia Nummerdor, a mother in her 30s, and her two young boys are facing a situation they never imagined. Their lives have been turned upside down following a painful and difficult situation involving Malia’s estranged husband and serious allegations against her that she maintains are untrue.

While the legal process takes its course, the immediate reality is that Malia and her boys have all been deeply affected. They have been displaced from their home, their normal routines have been disrupted, and Malia is trying to navigate an incredibly uncertain time while the everyday expenses of life continue.

Malia has lost both of her parents and grew up as an only child, so she does not have that immediate family support to lean on during a time like this. Instead, she is surrounded by close friends, most of whom she has known for decades, who care deeply about her and are doing everything they can to support her and her family through this situation.

This situation has also deeply affected Malia’s two young sons, who deserve privacy, stability, and as much normalcy as possible while the adults involved work through what comes next.

Funds raised through this fundraiser will be used solely for Malia’s personal and household needs unrelated to her legal defense, including housing expenses, utilities, transportation, lost income, food, and other basic living expenses while she works to regain some stability.

This personal fundraiser is completely separate from any legal-defense fundraising. No donations made here will be used for attorney fees or legal-defense costs.

This fundraiser is not asking anyone to decide the facts of the case. Those questions belong in the legal process. It is simply about helping Malia get through an extraordinarily difficult period and easing some of the everyday financial pressure while her life has been disrupted.
