Help Support Grant Tegan's Recovery

Our community is coming together following a tragic accident Monday evening involving a Raft River Fire District firetruck on East Yale Road.

Two firefighters were aboard the truck when it left the roadway and crashed, seriously injuring both. Tragically, Wyatt Gates lost his life in the accident, and his brother-in-law, Grant Tegan, was also seriously injured. Grant remains hospitalized and faces a difficult road to recovery.

As Grant focuses on healing, he and his family will face medical expenses, time away from work, travel costs, and other unexpected financial challenges.

We are asking our friends, neighbors, and community members to rally around Grant and help ease some of these burdens. Donations to this fundraiser will go directly toward supporting Grant and his recovery.

Wyatt also leaves behind his wife and their baby daughter. A separate fundraiser has been established to support them as they face the financial challenges of losing their husband and father.

To support Wyatt's wife and daughter, please visit their separate fundraiser here:

This is an opportunity for our community to come together and support two families whose lives have been forever changed by this accident.

Whether you can give, share these fundraisers, or keep both families in your thoughts and prayers, every act of kindness makes a difference.

Accounts have also been set up at DL Evans bank for direct donations, which eliminates 3rd party fees.

Let's show Grant and the Gates family that they are not alone. Thank you for your generosity and support.
