Having met in church almost two decades ago, we have been serving Jesus together in that same local church community. The last six of those we had the privilege of leading the church as well as being involved in other national and international ministry.
Around eighteen months ago, we began to feel a shift in our spirit and found that God had directly spoken to us about following Him into a new chapter.
What God has placed in our hearts is nothing small.
What would it look like to plant a thriving coastal church and then out of the strength and conviction of that, establish missional outposts in the surrounding communities up and down the coast that operate in the traditions and rhythms of some of the beloved Northern Saints?
- We’re dreaming of prayer rooms for people to encounter the presence of God.
- Mercy ministries that care for the poor; healing and restoring neighbourhoods.
- Biblical literacy and theology training centres that transform followers of Jesus.
- Centres for ecological and creation care.
Communities of prayer, mission, and education –
“new monasteries” – scattered across the North East coast.
This isn’t nostalgia. This is renewal. This is the Spirit breathing again on ancient soil. We believe that in an age of consumerist and convenience Christianity, there is a call to reclaim what it means to be an everyday saint.
To step into this calling, we are inviting our friends, our family and wider Christian brothers & sisters to partner with us.
