We were also denied food stamps due to our income being $90/month too high, which makes no sense. I only pay bills; we cook at home, and we never shop for anything. I get hand me down clothes and use the clothes closet at the food bank, which is now shut down.

Despite everything, I’ve strived to keep life as normal as possible for our kids. They’re active in church, school activities, and even enjoy free community events on weekends—anything to escape the financial hardship we face daily. 😓👧👦

But it's been tough. We live paycheck to paycheck, barely making ends meet. And now, with food as one of our biggest expenses, I’ve had to limit what I eat because of finances. I have many dietary restrictions due to allergies. I often go hungry at times and skip meals. 😔🍎 Additionally, this malnutrition has caused me many health problems.
