We are fundraising to build rooms for Carmelite Sisters who are traditional Catholic and live the primitive rule of St. Theresa of Avila. Currently, the Sisters live in very small quarters, and this makes the keeping of their life and rule very difficult. Our fundraiser will help fund the extension of the home so that each sister can have an individual room, along with a nursery for when the Sisters get sick.
Carmelite Sisters live a very secluded and mortified life, focusing on penance, prayer and sacrifice for the Good of the Church, and the Country, for the conversion of sinners and the needs of all the faithful. Their life is a very generous sacrifice, and it requires great heroism.
At present, as this community is starting, the keeping of this life and the rule becomes much harder, due to the small rooms, and the lack of space and privacy.
We are not asking for all the money that is needed, but just for what is necessary to finish the shell of the addition. A Priest and many other people are contributing with the manual labor and construction, almost on a daily basis, to save good amounts of money.
Please help us build this next addition to their convent, so that new vocations find it easier to give themselves to God in a life of Sacrifice, Prayer and Love!
