Hi friends and family!
I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve on a mission trip to Guatemala from March 13-20 with JAX BCM! I have loved being involved in Baptist Collegiate Ministry during my time at UNF, and I am so grateful for the meaningful friendships and the impact this ministry has had on my faith. I am so excited to serve alongside these wonderful people as we share the love of Jesus internationally!
During our time in Antigua, Guatemala, we will have the opportunity to serve the local community in several ways. We will be delivering Bibles, partnering with a wheelchair company for those in need, and sharing the gospel, particularly through children's ministry. This will be my first mission trip, and I am so expectant of all that the Lord will do through these opportunities to build relationships, encourage others, and share the hope and love of Christ!
I would be so grateful for your prayer and support as I prepare for this trip! Donations will help cover the costs associated with traveling to Guatemala and participating in this mission opportunity. If you feel led to give, any amount would mean so much to me and will help me to reach my goal. The total cost is $1,750, with the final payment due March 4. Most importantly, I would appreciate your prayers for our team, the people we will meet, and the work that God will do during our time there. Thank you for taking the time to read about this opportunity and for considering partnering with me in this way through prayer or financial support!
"The faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world -just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God's grace." - Colossians 1:5-6
"As for other matters, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you." - 2 Thessalonians 3:1
With love, Jessica Walker
