Hi friends,
Nearly 20 years ago, Jim had the chance to visit and serve in Arua, Uganda. He brought back a new perspective on what it means to love like Jesus and shared his experiences with me, sparking our love for the region.
Since then, we’ve spent the last decade supporting children's education, along with their spiritual and physical wellness in the area through Africa Renewal Ministries. We resonate with their heart to "transform Africa through the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
That long-term connection makes it incredibly special that this winter, Cameron and Jamie will have the privilege of visiting Arua Community Church and their partner schools to finally meet the children we have sponsored, joining others from our church for an outreach initiative in the area. This experience will be entirely new for both of us so we are going with open hearts and hands, ready to see what’s in store.
As excited as we are to share the hope of Jesus through our hands-on efforts and the Bible, we are even more eager to learn from this family of believers across the world. We hope to return better equipped to live out the gospel message and serve our local community here in Oregon.

Your generosity will help cover travel, lodging, meals, and ministry expenses, allowing us to fully engage with the work ahead.
