Three years ago, I was sitting in a Romanian church listening to the heartbreaking testimonies of abuse and sex-trafficked survivors, and the evil that had consumed their life stories. I was completely devastated, but then I saw these same girls strongly preach God’s love with no resentment and heard them praise Jesus with every ounce of their devotion.
This moment completely shifted my heart — I want to be part of protecting and restoring the innocence of the many neglected children in the world as well as teaching them the importance of the purpose God gives us.
I am reaching out because I would like to ask for your partnership in this mission.
In the past, I have been blessed to participate in missions: from working in Guatemala at Camp Sonshine for impoverished children when I was just five years old, to serving families in a refugee camp in Cyprus a few years later. However, I have never felt so in love with missions than when I was in that church in Calarasi, Romania.
I have been called ever since to help heal a broken culture of poverty and abuse through teaching children and organizing events that promote hope in “hopeless” areas — places where there is extreme child trauma such as, sex-trafficking hot spots and high child marriage and labor rates.
I would love your support!
I will be starting my training at YWAM (Youth with a Mission) on January 13th with 2 months of on-base training followed by 3 months of on-field experience overseas. I need to raise $10,495 by January 5th for the housing, travel and food costs for the full 5 months.
I would love your help to finish funding this project. Would you partner with me by giving today?
Thank you for all your prayers and consideration!
