A Personal Letter from Jordan Schleicher

Many years ago, if you had told me I would one day be preparing for ministry training at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, I would not have believed you.

My life was headed in a completely different direction.

Though I had a loving family and many opportunities growing up, I eventually found myself caught in addiction and living without purpose. What began as experimentation slowly became bondage. I searched for fulfillment in all the places the world promises satisfaction—relationships, substances, pleasure, achievement, and self-direction—but the emptiness always remained.

No matter what I gained, something was missing.

Looking back now, I can see that what I was truly searching for was Jesus.

By the grace of God, He met me in my brokenness. He did not simply help me improve my life—He transformed it. Through Christ, I discovered forgiveness where there had been shame, freedom where there had been addiction, hope where there had been despair, and purpose where there had once been confusion.

Jesus changed everything.

Since that time, I have had the privilege of serving and ministering among men who are walking through recovery from addiction. I have watched God restore families, heal wounded hearts, break chains of bondage, and reveal His love to people who believed they were beyond redemption.

Many of the men I work with today are facing the same struggles I once faced.

Because of what Christ has done in my own life, I have been able to walk beside them and point them toward the One who changed mine.

Over the last several years, however, I have sensed the Lord stirring something deeper in my heart.

As I have prayed, sought counsel, and pursued the Lord's direction, I have increasingly felt called into a season of further preparation and ministry training. That journey is now leading me to attend Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) in Redding, California.

I believe this season will be much more than an education.

I believe it will be a time of deeper discipleship, spiritual formation, leadership development, and preparation for whatever assignments God has ahead.

My heart is to carry the hope of Jesus wherever He sends me.

Whether that continues to involve recovery ministry, local church ministry, discipleship, evangelism, missions, or ministry among the nations, my desire is simple:

To know Jesus deeply.

To love people well.

To carry His presence faithfully.

To help others discover the freedom and purpose found in Him.

I do not know every detail of what the future holds, but I know the One who is leading me.

And I am excited to follow Him.

A Personal Update

I believe it is also important for you to know that I am not simply asking you to invest in this calling without making sacrifices of my own. After much prayer, I believe the Lord has asked me to personally steward my resources and make significant sacrifices to pursue this next season. As a result, I am selling some of the most valuable possessions I own, including my Harley-Davidson motorcycle and my dirt bike, to help fund this move and my time at ministry school.

I share this not to draw attention to myself, but to demonstrate that I am fully committed to what I believe God is calling me to do. I am investing my own resources, making personal sacrifices, and stepping out in faith alongside those who choose to partner with me. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and support as I follow the Lord's leading into this next chapter.
