Jason Astel was one of those people.
Jason was a valued member of our automotive family, and his passing left a space in our hearts and our community that can never truly be filled.
Jason understood firsthand the challenges that can come with heart conditions. Having undergone heart surgery as an infant and later facing his own battle with heart failure, his story is one of strength, perseverance, and the importance of compassionate medical care.
In his memory, Vertically Challenged Truck Club is coming together to support a cause that holds special meaning to Jason’s story.

Through the Jason Astel Memorial Toy Drive & Car Show, we hope to bring together friends, family, fellow automotive enthusiasts, and our community to celebrate Jason’s life while making a meaningful difference for children and families facing heart-related medical challenges.

All monetary donations collected through this online fundraiser, after required payment-processing fees, will be donated to St. Louis Children’s Heart Center in Jason’s memory. No funds from this campaign will be used for car-show expenses.
