Dear Family and Friends,
I have decided to embark on a missions trip to Sucré, Bolivia. This adventure is being organized by my church, Tidal Creek Fellowship. Our team will be joining a partner church December 28 to January 10th to support the Shalom and Esperanza Children's Homes, a joint venture that has lasted over a decade. The children's homes take in orphaned and abandoned kids and place them into on-site homes with house parents and siblings. They provide long-term care for the children, educating them and raising them to adulthood. Many of the children, once they graduate, decide to work with the Homes that helped them.
While in Bolivia, my group and I will be doing construction work on the second and third stories of a school building. We will also be spending time with the children doing arts and crafts, cooking, playing games, making great memories, and spreading Christ's love at every opportunity we can.
I am asking for your support. It would be a blessing if you would pray as you feel led for the children and our team as we travel and serve them, as well as the adults that serve them year round. If you are willing to support me financially, I need to raise $2700 to cover the cost of the trip. I am trying to reach that goal by Sunday, October 11th.
