Investing in the Future of the Church in Angola

By the grace of God, I have been selected to participate in the Lausanne Younger Leaders Gathering (YLG 4) in São Paulo, Brazil, from March 16–22, 2027, where more than 1,000 emerging Christian leaders from around the world will gather to seek God, learn from one another, and explore how we can advance the gospel together.

For me, this opportunity is more than attending a conference. It is an opportunity to bring what I learn and the relationships I develop back to Angola and invest them into the next generation of Christian leaders.

As the National Christian Education Coordinator of Evangelical Brethren Church in Angola, I serve in a ministry focused on theological education, Bible teaching, leadership development, and discipleship. Through this work, I have the opportunity to help equip pastors, teachers, young leaders, and local churches to become more effective servants of Christ.

Here in Angola, I also serve with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), a missionary organization that uses aviation to support the Church and bring practical assistance to isolated communities. This has given me a broader perspective on missions and the importance of connecting the Church, Christian leaders, and communities in order to advance God's work.

YLG 4 would give me access to a global network of Christian leaders, mentorship, training, and ideas that I can bring back and apply within these ministries in Angola. My desire is not simply to receive from this gathering, but to multiply what I receive by equipping others.

The total cost of my participation, including registration and travel, is approximately $3,195 USD. I am therefore inviting individuals and churches who believe in investing in Christian leadership in Angola to partner with me financially.

Your contribution would not simply help send one person to Brazil. It would help equip someone who intends to return and invest in pastors, young leaders, teachers, and churches in Angola.

I would be deeply grateful for your partnership through prayer and financial support as I seek to make the most of this opportunity to advance the gospel and strengthen Christ's Church in Angola.

Thank you for standing with me and investing in what God is doing in Angola.
