A Father’s Appeal for His Nine Grandchildren
On October 28, 2026, my world changed forever. My beautiful daughter, Rebecca Dee Case, whom I have lovingly called Baby Dee all her life, was tragically killed in an automobile accident.
As her daddy, this is a heartbreak I know all too well. I’ve already lost two sons, David and Joshua, and now my precious Baby Dee has joined her brothers in heaven.
Rebecca was born July 19, 1985. She never met a stranger and had a heart full of love. She had a little strawberry shaped birthmark on her forehead that I always called her angel kiss. To me, she will always be my Baby Dee.
She leaves behind her husband and my nine precious grandchildren, ranging in age from 18 down to just 3 years old.
The photograph I’ve shared shows my nine grandchildren standing together in a cotton field, with two hands holding tightly to one another. It reminds me that even in our darkest hours, love and family are what hold us together.
Other fundraisers have already been established to help Rebecca’s family. This appeal is simply from me, her daddy, for those who know me personally and wish to help support my grandchildren during this heartbreaking time.
My greatest concern now is for those nine precious children who must grow up without their mother’s loving presence.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated. Your prayers are equally precious to me.
My faith assures me that Baby Dee is now in the presence of God, our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, reunited with her brothers, David and Joshua.
I cannot bring my daughter back, but I can do everything within my power to help care for the nine beautiful grandchildren she left behind.
Thank you from the bottom of this daddy’s heart.
With love and gratitude,
Rebecca’s Daddy
