In Loving Memory of My Mom
On October 1st, my mom (Cheri) passed away after fighting pulmonary fibrosis for almost six years.
For nearly six years, she fought through something incredibly difficult, and through it all, she remained my mom — someone who meant more to me than I can put into words. My mom’s relationship with God was a deeply important part of her life. Her faith was something she carried with her through everything, including the many difficult years of her illness. She believed in God, held onto her faith, and found comfort in knowing that she was never facing any of it alone.
Her faith was a part of who she was, and it is something I will always remember about her. As difficult as it is to lose her, I find comfort in believing that she is now with the Lord, free from the pain and suffering she endured for so many years.
Losing her has been one of the hardest things my family and I have ever had to face.
Right now, we are trying to focus on saying goodbye to her and giving her the funeral and memorial she deserves. Unfortunately, the costs that come with a funeral have become an additional burden during an already incredibly difficult time.
We are asking for help with funeral expenses, memorial costs, and the other expenses that come with laying a loved one to rest. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean a lot to our family. If you aren’t able to donate, sharing this page or simply keeping my mom and our family in your thoughts and prayers means just as much.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, checked on us, and shown our family love during this time. It means more than you know.
I know she is finally at peace and in the presence of the God she believed in.
Rest peacefully, Mom. I love you, and I’ll miss you forever.
