I haven't known Paul and Loring for decades, but as I've gotten to know them and learned about what they're preparing to do in Honduras, I've become convinced that this is something worth helping launch.
I've watched the preparation, seen the vision, and I'm putting my own time and resources behind them. Now I'd like to invite others to help them cross the finish line.”
Here’s the information they gave me about their call to Honduras:
After years of preparing, praying, and trusting God for each step, we believe the time has finally come for us to move to Honduras.
God has called us to train and mentor worship leaders. We will also do evangelism and mercy ministry as the Lord leads.
We are selling our home that we have loved for over 20 years and have been living in a small RV for almost a year while we prepare for full-time service. He gave us a Ten Year Plan—and the time is here!
Now we believe we are about 4–5 WEEKS from leaving, assuming God provides the funds still needed within that time frame.
Here’s what they need help with:
- Required travel preparations, final medical expenses, prescriptions, and other immediate needs before departure.
- Required health exams, vaccinations, and international entry certificates for the dogs.
- Hiring and flying in a Honduran friend with experience to travel with Paul—nearly 3,000 miles through three countries over approximately 10 days. Additional expenses will include lodging, food, fuel, border fees, and taxes.
- Airfare for Loring and a travel companion to assist with extra luggage and so Loring does not have to travel alone in a foreign country.
- Residency expenses, first month’s rent and deposit, utilities, a washer and dryer, and other basic household needs. (Their furniture and household goods have already been sent ahead to Honduras and are waiting for them there.)
- RV storage in the U.S.
