Dear friends, family, and community,
On September 14, 2026, my beloved brother Kyle passed away. He was a proud Marine Corps veteran. Now, the responsibility falls completely on my shoulders to handle his final arrangements and settle his affairs.
The VA will pay for his cremation and funeral.
Kyle passed away in Indiana, which is a five-hour drive from my home here in Michigan. Because funds are incredibly tight, I am facing an uphill battle trying to make the necessary trips to take care of him one last time.
am raising funds to cover the direct, immediate costs of traveling to Indiana to pick up Kyle’s ashes from the funeral home and to clean out his remaining belongings.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward making this final trip possible:
- Gas & Transportation ($165): To ensure I can safely drive the 10-hour round trip to Indiana and back.
- Lodging ($270): To cover 3 nights at the Best Western Plus in Lafayette, providing a safe, reliable base while I spend long days packing and sorting through his belongings.
- Moving & Packing Supplies ($40): For heavy-duty boxes, tape, and basic supplies to carefully pack up his things.
- Emergency Buffer & Food ($125): For highway tolls, basic meals, and a critical emergency safety net for the road.
How You Can Help:
If you are able to donate to help me cover these travel expenses, your generosity will take an immense weight off my shoulders during a deeply painful time. If you cannot give financially, I completely understand and ask that you please lift me up in prayer. Every prayer, share, and dollar helps me bring my brother home.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and God bless you.
