Every great act of faith begins with a vision. Ours is to build a place where generations can come together to worship, pray, and grow closer to God.
In the small community of Umuorie, Naze, Imo State, Nigeria, the parishioners of St. Jude’s Catholic Church have been working tirelessly to turn that vision into reality.
Through years of sacrifice, prayers, and generous contributions, our community has made incredible progress toward completing our church. But we still need your help.
Today, we’re reaching out to friends, family, fellow Christians, Nigerians living abroad, and compassionate individuals around the world to help us complete three essential projects that will make a tremendous difference in the lives of our parishioners.
What Your Donation Will Help Provide
1. Church Pews — Comfort for Every Worshipper
We hope to install proper church pews so that children, families, and elderly parishioners have a comfortable and welcoming place to worship.
Project cost: ₦32,500,000 (approximately $24,230 USD)
2. Solar Power — Keeping the Lights On
Reliable electricity remains a challenge in many Nigerian communities. Installing solar power will help provide consistent electricity for church services, lighting, and other important activities.
Project cost: ₦13,497,000 (approximately $10,060 USD)
3. Sound System — Helping God’s Word Reach Everyone
A quality sound system will allow parishioners to clearly hear Scripture readings, sermons, prayers, and choir performances, making every worship experience more meaningful.
Project cost: ₦18,500,000 (approximately $13,790 USD)
Our Fundraising Goal: $48,080 USD
We are hoping to raise ₦64,497,000 (approximately $48,080 USD) to complete these three essential projects.
Every dollar raised will help us move closer to providing our congregation with the seating, electricity, and sound equipment needed to create a welcoming and functional place of worship.
Why Your Support Matters
For us, this isn’t simply about completing a building.
It’s about creating a spiritual home where a grandmother can comfortably attend Mass, where a young child can hear the Word of God, and where families can come together to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.
Your donation is more than a financial contribution. It’s an investment in a community, in faith, and in a legacy that will last for generations.
Whether you can give $10, $25, $50, $100, or any amount, every contribution brings us closer to our goal.
The Bible reminds us in 2 Corinthians 9:7:
“God loves a cheerful giver.”
We ask that you prayerfully consider supporting this mission. And if you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser with your family, friends, or church community can make a meaningful difference.
Together, we can finish what faith started.
On behalf of the parishioners and families of St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Naze, Nigeria, thank you for your prayers, generosity, and kindness.
May God bless you abundantly for being part of our story.
