On October 4th, I lost my best friend and my husband. His passing was sudden and unexpected, and now I find myself navigating a life I never pictured without him.
He was an OTR driver for over 20 years. While he enjoyed parts of that life, he missed being home. When we moved to Texas, he left behind his beloved winters, winters I honestly hated, but he did it for me. I will never forget that sacrifice.
We were blessed with a wonderful blended family of 6 boys, 4 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. He loved us with everything he had.
Now I'm asking for help, not just mentally and spiritually, but financially. He was our breadwinner, and while I plan on returning to work, I know I have many costs to navigate in this new journey ahead of me. Your support would mean so much as I take these first steps forward.
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back.
