Hi! My name is Brianna! I am raising money for my very first mission trip to the Dominican Republic, an opportunity that I truly believe God is calling me toward. I grew up in a Christian family and have always loved serving others, but I feel that this trip is a chance for me to step out of my comfort zone and put my faith into action.
I have been running since I was six years old and also have been running cross country since I was in third grade. Running has become one of the biggest ways God has strengthened my faith. It has taught me perseverance, patience, humility, and how to keep moving forward when things get difficult. I want to take those lessons with me as I serve others in the Dominican Republic.
I have always wanted to use my voice and my gifts for something bigger than myself. Even though there may be a language barrier, I believe I can still communicate God’s love through kindness, encouragement, service, and simply being present with the people I meet. The money raised will help cover the costs of my trip and allow me to take part in this opportunity to serve, learn, grow in my faith, and make a difference in the lives of others.
