Update: We are deeply saddened to share that Mark Mauer has passed away after his battle with stage 4 cancer.
The donations raised through this fundraiser will now be used to help Mark's mother, Sally Mauer, with expenses related to Mark's passing, including funeral and memorial expenses, final expenses, and other immediate costs the family is facing as a result of his passing.
Sally Mauer, Mark's mother, is the intended beneficiary of the donations.
The funds will initially be received by Andrew Rivera, a friend of Mark Mauer who is helping manage the fundraiser. Andrew will then transfer the donated funds to Sally Mauer so that she can use them for the expenses described above. Andrew is not the beneficiary of the fundraiser and is only assisting with receiving and transferring the funds to Sally.
