No parent should ever have to bury their child. It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Joshua Mathew Gordon, 27, of Fort Lupton, Colorado.
In the early hours of November 4, 2026, Josh was traveling home on his motorcycle, a possession in which he took great pride and care, and following the rules of the road and remaining alert was always his priority. He was about 20 minutes from home when he came to a full stop at a stoplight. Sadly, the car behind him did not stop, and he was thrown from his bike.
Andrew and I live 5 1/2 hours away and anticipate multiple trips back and forth as we sort through what needs to happen. For anyone who feels led to give to help with funeral arrangements and travel expenses, please do so here or reach out to me (Alesa) directly.
We know that God is still good and all things work together for good for those who love Him. Josh knew this, too. He just beat us to the finish line.
