Hey everybody! Going out to the mission field is something I have felt a strong call from the Lord to do since I was a senior in high school. The Lord has confirmed this calling to me several times, and I feel that now is the time to take the next step of obedience. I feel a strong call to join those who are living out the Great Commission internationally.

The way I plan to do missions is through a program called YWAM, Youth With a Mission, at the base in Byron Bay, Australia. I have wanted to go through this program for several years because I have heard many testimonies from close friends about how the Lord used it not only to make His name known among the nations but also to bring about personal life change and deep discipleship. This program includes three months of discipleship training at the base, which will involve Bible and discipleship classes, worship, prayer, community life, one-on-one mentorship, small groups, and local outreaches. The final three months will be the outreach phase, including local and overseas missions, commonly sending participants to the Southeast Asia region.

This journey means leaving behind comfort and familiarity, a cost I am willing to sacrifice. I know the Lord will move through this, so I find it very worth it. What is most important is your prayers. I strongly believe in the power of prayer and have seen it at work in my life. I would appreciate your prayers over this season more than anything: prayers of provision, protection, and the Holy Spirit at work.

I also need to fundraise $12,000 for this mission. Asking for money is something I hate to do, but the Lord has told me to humble myself and accept help, allowing others to be generous and send someone on a mission where they may not be able to go. Every dollar counts and would mean the world to me.
