UPDATE: He is home, and it is wonderful. Thank you all for your support during these days. You have helped eased the cost of building/furnishing his room, clothing and shoes (plus work boots), food, and gas expenses. He has been sticker-shocked by the cost of things- a lot has happened in the five intervening years. He has started a new job and is attending to all of the required facets of parole every day. We ask for continued prayers as he finds his place (and good people). If you feel led to donate, all monies will continue to go toward his new life and future.

Dylan is coming home!

After five years of incarceration (which have been chronicled on BlackSheepMom.com) he has been offered parole this summer.

Other than a garbage bag full of books which were sent to him in prison, he has no worldly possessions. From toiletries to bedding to clothing to a phone to (eventually) a vehicle, he will have to build again from scratch.

Family has provided everything we can to this point (even building out a room for him in a basement) but funds are getting tight. Dylan will busy keeping his parole commitments and looking for a job immediately upon release. We are only asking for some help to get through the first few months of adjustment.

Any gift you give will help secure basic necessities for him. All of his restitution has been paid off and no court fees remain. This is truly a fresh start.

Thank you for your support through these years. We would not be here without the love of our friends and family. We're excited to see what Dylan will do with the rest of his life!
