JOIN ME IN GOING TO PERU
This coming March, I have the opportunity to go to Peru with the Every Man Ministries team on my very first missions trip. We’ll be going to share the Gospel, serve the people we encounter, and meet practical needs within the communities we visit.
For me, this trip feels like a full-circle moment.
I came to know Jesus because a friend invited me to his baptism. I remember being so moved by what I witnessed that I wanted to seek out and find whatever it was that he had found. That invitation became the beginning of my journey with Christ.
Now, I have the opportunity to go somewhere outside of my own country and share the same hope that was once shared with me.
I believe God is using this season to teach me what it really means to have faith beyond what is familiar. Peru is completely outside of my comfort zone, but I believe that’s part of the reason God is leading me there. He is exposing me to people, circumstances, and ways of serving that I may not encounter in my everyday life here in the United States.
I also believe I’m in a season of being trained.
When I look at the relationship between Paul and Timothy, I see a picture of someone being poured into, discipled, and prepared for what God has ahead. I believe that’s where I am right now. God has placed people in my life who are teaching me, challenging me, and helping me grow. Not just in what I know, but in how I live out my faith.
My church family has taught me the importance of being there for people. Not simply saying that we care, but actually showing it. Going the extra mile. Serving when it’s inconvenient. Meeting practical needs. Loving people in a way that they can see and experience.
Because faith was never meant to stay locked inside the walls of a church.
What good is our faith if we never take it beyond what is comfortable? We are called to share the Gospel with our families, our communities, and even with strangers we may have never met before.
That’s what makes this trip so meaningful to me.
I’m not going to Peru because I have everything figured out. I’m going because I’m willing to say yes. I want to learn, serve, grow, and allow God to use me however He chooses. I want to step outside of my comfort zone and see what God can do when I make myself available to Him.
The cost for me to participate in this trip is $2,500, which covers airfare and mission-related expenses. I’m asking you to prayerfully consider partnering with me as I take this step of faith.
If you’re able to give, your contribution will help make this trip possible. But if you’re not in a position to give financially, I would be just as grateful for your prayers. Please pray for our team, the people we’ll encounter, the communities we’ll serve, and that God would prepare our hearts to be obedient to whatever He asks of us.
Someone once invited me to a baptism, and that simple invitation changed the direction of my life.
Now I get the opportunity to carry that same Gospel beyond my own backyard.
Thank you for believing in me, praying for me, and helping me take this step of faith. I’m excited to see what God has in store.
