In December I have the opportunity to go to South Africa and take part in a two week outreach called Endurance.
Endurance is a youth and family focused outreach designed to introduce teenagers to themselves and Jesus using adventure. We will be cycling 550+ miles through Limpopo (the northernmost province of South Africa) interacting with and supporting the towns we travel through.
The focus of this outreach is to equip the students to know Jesus, serve others, and share the gospel.
One way we will accomplish this goal is by teaching the students how to internalize scripture using the Word By Heart method!
On this outreach I will be one of the facilitators teaching the Word By Heart method and I will also be the worship coordinator.
Like I said, I need some help to make this outreach possible. By adding your support, you get to be apart of blessing these teens, and everybody else we get to come in contact with. There are two main ways to lend your support, they are to give and to pray.
Give
To make this outreach possible I need $3000 of support.
- $2,500 for plane tickets
- $500 for food, transportation, and provided equipment (Bicycles, tents, etc.)
Pray
- That the participants lives will be changed
- For strategy for the leaders as they prepare
- That the participants hearts will be softened as they prepare
