Dear Family & Friends,
As many of you know, I’m very passionate about out Operation Christmas Child. I’ve been a volunteer for 11 years - the last 3 as an Area Coordinator.
I’m so excited to share that I’ve been invited to go on a Harvest Vision trip next year to Alabang, Philippines! I will have to opportunity to visit churches and schools to observe how God is using trained Ministry Partners to share the Gospel message utilizing OCC shoebox gifts and discipleship materials. The trip includes 3 outreach events, where shoebox gifts will be distributed, and one The Greatest Journey program, as well as presentations and training sessions.
I’m so looking forward to seeing first-hand the joy shoebox gifts bring and the eternal impact they and the discipleship classes have on children around the world. I intend to use this experience to deepen my volunteer role with OCC to provide more Gospel opportunities and return with a testimony of how God is working in the Philippines.
The cost of the trip is $3,800.00 and covers domestic and international airfare, lodging, meals, and ground transportation. Since I am reimbursing Samaritan’s Purse for these costs, contributions toward this trip are not eligible for tax deductible receipts. If you are able to support my journey to the Philippines, I would be very grateful!
This is going to stretch my faith, as I step
out into the unknown, relying on God and allowing Christ to work through me. Would you please pray with me, asking God to show me exactly how to deepen my role with OCC for the sake of the Gospel?
