Cartagena never left our hearts. ❤️🇨🇴

After a lot of prayer and reflection, our family is stepping out in faith again.

This summer, Jocelyn, Elias, Sofia, and I are planning to return to Cartagena, Colombia to partner once again with Iglesia Cristiana Renacer.

Last year changed us. We witnessed firsthand how access to basic medical care, prayer, and simply showing up with love can impact an entire community. We saw children receive care they otherwise wouldn’t have. We prayed with families carrying heavy burdens. We watched God provide in ways that still leave us in awe.

This year, our focus will again be medical missions, supporting outreach efforts that bring practical care and the hope of Christ to those who need it most.

As we begin planning, we are also beginning to raise financial support and collect medical supplies that will directly bless the community. We’ll be sharing specific needs and ways to partner with us in the coming weeks.

More than anything, we ask for prayer. Pray for the pastors and leaders. Pray for the families we plan to serve. Pray for provision. Pray that God opens every door He wants opened and closes the ones that aren’t His will.

We don’t take this lightly. Traveling as a family is a sacrifice financially, logistically, and personally. But we believe identity precedes activity, and our identity is found in Jesus.
