We are the Buckhalters: a family of six (Justin, Alyx, and our four children) raising funds to be able to participate in the Outreach Phase of our Discipleship Training School with Youth With A Mission.
We are currently in the three-month Lecture Phase of the 2026 Family DTS program at the YWAM base in Chico, California, and will depart on a 2-month Outreach/Missions Trip the day after Thanksgiving to go wherever the Lord sends us.
Although our destination is not yet decided upon (**UPDATE: We will be traveling to the South Pacific for our Outreach!!), we are training and preparing faithfully at the University of the Nations now to be equipped to serve internationally in just a few short months. We will travel and serve on Outreach with four other families and a total of 18 kids ages 2-16!
This fundraiser will cover the cost for our family to attend the Outreach portion of the program: all meals, housing, materials, and travel for the six of us. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to go and serve together as a family!
