Broken but Blessed — For God's Children

My name is Michael Wilder. I live in a tent in DeLand, Florida, and I'm building something I believe God put in my hands.

For most of my life I made good money — 43 years in sales and marketing. Then came a stroke, and the losses that followed it, and they put me in this tent. My ability to work is limited now. I'm not telling you that for pity. I'm telling you because it's the truth, and the truth is the foundation this whole thing stands on.

And I'm not hiding somewhere. Michael Wilder is my real name, and this is my real life. You can find me on Facebook — facebook.com/michael.wilder.163486 — real posts, real people, a real tent in DeLand. Come look at the man before you decide about the mission.

Out of that tent, I designed a cross.

It's called the Infinity Crying Cross. It's drawn as one unbroken line — it never lifts, from the crown to the point. At the top is a teardrop crown, and the crossguard curls into tear loops, because this cross weeps — forever — for what Jesus went through. And down the blade, written into the cross itself, goes a name: your name, or the name of somebody you love, somebody you've lost, somebody you're praying for.

I'm on a mission to put together a cross that has meaning — one people are proud to wear on a shirt, on a hat, over their heart. A cross that unites people instead of dividing them.

Your donation does two things. First, it keeps me alive while I build — food, a warm place to sleep, a roof over my head instead of a tent. Second, it builds The Wilder Christian Collection, the Christian company behind the cross, so this can reach people I'll never meet.

I don't have a number I'm chasing. God knows what I need. He will provide.

Give if you can. Share if you can't. Pray either way.

Broken but blessed. That's me.
