I’m lacing up my running shoes for a very special reason. On my next run, I’m dedicating every mile to raise $5 million for a courageous young woman named Zalia Oliva.

Zalia is just 20 years old and was paralyzed from the chest down in a tragic car accident caused by a drunk driver. Her story moved me deeply—not just because of her immense courage, but also because it resonated with my own journey of overcoming challenges and choosing a better path.

Why I’m Running for Zalia:

I started running marathons to prepare myself for the challenges of fatherhood and life. It’s my way of building the resilience I know I’ll need as a future parent. And now, I’m running this 30K not just for my own growth, but to help Zalia get the care and support she needs on her road to recovery.

Our Goal: $5 Million for Zalia’s Recovery

This fundraising effort aims to raise $5 million to cover her medical expenses, ongoing treatments, and the specialized physiotherapy she receives in Portugal. I believe that with your help, we can reach this goal and show Zalia that she’s surrounded by love and support.
