As many of you already know, two years ago the Wrinkles of His Hands and Feet rescued August, a young, pregnant woman who was living on the street in Knoxville. They connected her with a Christian support program, she decided to keep her baby, and she was baptized! Her son is now a healthy one-year-old, and mother and son live together in East Tennessee.
August is full of joy and thanksgiving! She has shared her story all over East Tennessee (listen to her witness above!) and wants to help other women in similar situations to find the help and joy that she found!
Now that they are on their own, August and her son need a car, a washer and dryer, and a small table and chairs. Currently, August has to walk everywhere and has had to turn down several jobs because of distance. She is washing her and her son’s clothes by hand. Nezekiah has a high chair, but they have no table for the two of them to enjoy meals together. Please give generously, and may God bless you!
