Rally for Wade

We are raising money to support my brother and sister-in-law during the most difficult time of their lives. On February 10th, my three-year-old nephew, Wade, was diagnosed with cancer. Just days later, on February 15th, he began his first round of chemotherapy. Wade has a type of cancer called Neuroblastoma.

Wade is the kindest little soul you will ever meet, and his parents, Jen and Andrew, are two of the most loving and selfless people I know. Jen has stepped away from work to be by Wade’s side full time. Andrew is doing everything he can to continue working while also being present for Wade through treatments and hospital stays.

This will be a very long road. They are facing mounting medical bills, travel expenses, and time away from work. Any support will help ease the financial burden so they can focus completely on Wade and his healing.

Most of all, we ask for your prayers. Please pray for Wade to feel peace and comfort through every step of this journey. Pray for the doctors to have wisdom and steady hands in every procedure. Pray that the treatments are swift and effective, and that Wade can return to as much normalcy as possible as quickly as possible. And please pray for strength, comfort, and peace for Jen and Andrew as they walk through this with their sweet boy.

Thank you for loving and supporting Wade. 💙

Update on Wade – July 24, 2026

Today we have so much to celebrate, while also recognizing that Wade still has a very long road ahead. We are incredibly grateful for all of the love, support, prayers, and generosity everyone has shown our family.

As of today, Wade has completed five rounds of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, undergone two surgeries, and endured countless scans, tests, and diagnostic procedures.

We are thrilled to share that Wade’s recent scans and bone marrow biopsies came back CLEAR! His treatment so far has been incredibly successful, and we couldn’t be more thankful for this amazing milestone.

While this is wonderful news, Wade’s journey is far from over. His next steps include two additional rounds of chemotherapy, followed by a stem cell transplant. After his second round of chemotherapy, he will remain hospitalized for approximately 100 days during his recovery. Once he has recovered enough, he will undergo several radiation treatments.

Following radiation, Wade will begin five rounds of immunotherapy with Dinotuximab. This treatment is extremely intense and must be administered in the Pediatric ICU. Each round consists of four days of treatment, with each cycle taking place about one month apart.

Since his diagnosis, Wade has remained in UC Davis. Jen continues to stay by his side every day, while Andrew travels to be with them whenever he has days off from work.

Wade also continues to have 2–3 medical appointments each week, with additional appointments often added as new needs arise.

While today’s news gives us so much hope, we know the journey ahead will continue to be physically, emotionally, and financially demanding. We are deeply grateful for every prayer, encouraging message, and act of support. Thank you for standing with Wade and our family as we continue this fight together.
