In October of 2023, I detransitioned after living as woman for 30 years. In the late 80s, I destroyed my marriage. When I transitioned in 1993, I destroyed family relationships, I deceived many, and I gained new relationships fraudulently over the coming decades. I passed well as Maggie and I settled into a comfortable life and career. I even claimed to be a Christian. I had gone to church all my life and I thought I was a good person; surely God will let me into heaven, won't He?
In the late 2020s, I heard the true biblical Gospel, and everything changed. I saw my sin in its true light. I realized who and what I was, a wretched sinner in dire need of a savior, and what I needed to be saved from. I knew I was living a lie and that I was a slave to my sin and I wanted no more of it, not just just my trans lifestyle, all sin.
One night in 2020, I cried out to God confessing my sins and asking forgiveness. I repented and put my faith in Jesus. In short order I knew the Holy Spirit was in me and changing me. I was completely transformed. I despised my lifestyle and set out to detransition, even though it had not seemed practical. I wanted to detransition, to glorify God. It took three years. People threw obstacles in my path and some even tried to talk me out of it. I had to have surgery and I navigated my way through the legal name change and everything that goes with it.
I am so thankful for God's patience with me. I'm thankful for the Father's saving Grace, the Son's atoning sacrifice, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. I'm not Maggie, I'm William, as God made me to be.
For by grace you are saved, through faith, and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them - Ephesians 2:8-10
Since that happened, I've been building a social media presence and sharing my testimony and the Gospel of Jesus Christ with trans people in particular and lgbtq people in general. I've been speaking out about the lies and contradictions of the trans movement and especially their targeting of children. I expose big pharma and healthcare greedy for the billions that the trans medical industry takes in. I'm an evangelist now as well as an activist. I've been doing podcasts, interviews and speaking engagements over the past year and a half. I spoke at a TPUSA event a couple weeks ago and I'm scheduling more events now.
I want to do more and I feel that the Lord is leading me to do this. But I'm at a crossroads. I've spent my available funds on my efforts over the past 18 months and even took out a loan against my retirement. Like most, I have bills to pay. So, I need to earn a living doing what I love, or I have to go back to work. Either way, I'm living for Christ, but I hope to further His kingdom by heading the call. I can only do that with your help though.
i am announcing the formation of my no-profit ministry, Transformed Life Outreach, which has the following four initial goals:
- Evangelism. Spreading the Gospel to all who will listen.
- LGBTQ Outreach. Speaking truth, boldly and lovingly, to trans people in particular and lgbtq people in general. I've been called a digital missionary, but I want to take it to the streets, the stage, and any other platform I can find.
- Parent's network. I didn't see this one coming. Parents and loved ones of those who are lost to the lies of transgenderism, have reached out to me. Many had nowhere to turn and needed advice. My heart goes out to them, and I want to create a robust outreach and network for them to share in each other's burdens and celebrate each other's victories. I want to develop educational materials and curriculum for them, and for churches,
- Kid's outreach. I want to prepare young people who are going off to college and entering the workforce, for the onslaught of deceptive world views coming their way from professors and woke employers. I want to teach them how to recognize the lies, contradictions and logical fallacies the trans ideology uses to further their agenda, and to arm them with conversational tactics to counter those deceptions and to hold fast to reality and truth.
With this crowd funding campaign, I hope to raise enough for start-up costs and to fund my efforts for the first two years. I'll need to acquire some hardware, software and other tech, a small office space, and from time to time I'll need to hire some help with regard to social media, tech, graphics, and security. I also need to repay my loan, pay myself a salary and cover travel expenses. My intent is to let this campaign cook for a couple months and if I can hit my target, great, I dive in 100%. If not, then I return to work to pay off my loan and rebuild my savings. Either way, I'm trusting in the Lord for all things.
