Our Mission Journey

Around the globe, there are over 150 million children without parents, 285 million widows, and 730 million people who don't have enough to eat.

Another alarming fact is that over 3 billion people have never heard the Gospel of Christ. As we look around, we can see that the world is filled with an overwhelming amount of problems; issues too great for anyone to solve on their own.

Though it may seem bleak, we want to remind you that there is hope in Christ. For the Lord has called His Church, the body of Christ, to set the captives free and restore hope around the world. He has called ordinary people just like you and me to proclaim the gospel message to the ends of the earth and help those in need!

James 1:27 says, “Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.”

The Lord has called us to be the ones who care for those in need, and He has given each of us a role to play in reaching the lost across the world.

Our role as a family is to be on the front lines of the spiritual battlefield to impact those who are most in need. In early 2024, we felt that the Lord was calling us into the world of missions, so we left our friends and families for the sake of the Gospel. (We don’t always know which country the Lord will send us to next, but He continues to faithfully direct our steps and use us as He desires.)

For instance, during our time in Trinidad and Tobago, we helped hold a 3-night crusade in a high-risk community. Every day, we arrived a few hours before the event and walked house to house, inviting the community to an event at a local church. On the second night, we were proclaiming the gospel message at the church and sharing about the heart of our heavenly Father. Near the end of the night, we invited anyone who needed prayer to come forward.

It was in this moment that we were met face to face with little children whose eyes were filled with tears. Many of them just let their tears fall as they brought their burdens to Jesus. Later, we learned that some of these children had lost their fathers at a young age, and others were from difficult backgrounds, but during this crusade, all were met with the love of Christ.

Our role in fulfilling the great commission is heading to foreign countries to proclaim the gospel message and help the orphans, widows, and those who are caught in the pit of despair. We aim to impact broken families, broken marriages, and help those that no one else will. Each of us has a role to play in sharing the gospel message and helping others. What is your role?

Ephesians 4:11-13 “Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. [13] This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.”
