This fundraiser is to help my sister Elizabeth and her significant other AJ raise funds to help in rebuilding their lives after a devastating flood destroyed it. They were rescued by boat this morning and have been transported to safety. They've lost their home, two vehicles, and all their belongings. They are even missing two of their pet cats. To put it mildly, they are both completely devastated and have a long road ahead of them emotionally and financially. If we can ease that burden a little, I believe it will be the uplift they need to thrive again. A rising tide raises all ships.
The devastation took less than 24 hours and has affected hundreds of thousands of others in the north western part of New Mexico. To my knowledge the Governor has yet to call a "State of Emergency". Therefore federal assistance isn't present at the level it should be.
So, we humbly ask for your assistance in getting Elizabeth and AJ the help they need. Thank you and God bless!
