Chad was diagnosed with epilepsy when he was 20 years old. He's a loving father to 3 teen girls, a loyal husband to his wife, and a kind friend. He had an IT job at Gwinnett County Public Schools, but unfortunately, he has been on long term disability because of repeated seizures. He now has medication resistant epilepsy. Each month he usually has seizures as well as trips to the ER.
He does not qualify for Medicare, and he's no longer eligible for his health insurance. He cannot afford the expensive Cobra plan.

My name is Sherri Kaiser, and I'm the organizer of this fundraiser. Chad and his family are dear friends of mine. Chad and I worked together at Partee Elementary School in Snellville, Georgia.
Once we've reached the giving goal, I'll present the money to his family so he can schedule the consultation with the brain surgeon. If we exceed the giving goal, then he will be able to apply the extra funds towards paying for the surgery.
