Help Support Butch & April Through a recent cancer diagnosis
Our dear friends, Butch and April, are facing an incredibly difficult season and we are asking our community to surround them with both prayer and practical support.
Butch has recently received a diagnosis of an aggressive form of cancer that is moving quickly. He has an appointment with Virginia Oncology on September 30 to learn more about the road ahead and treatment options.
This comes after an already very hard year for their family. April has been recovering from a serious ankle and leg injury that required surgery and kept her from driving and working for approximately seven months. She has only recently begun a new job, but the uncertainty of Butch’s diagnosis and the need for appointments and care may require additional time away from work.
They have worked hard to make it through one challenge after another, but the financial strain is real. Donations will help ease the burden of lost income, household bills, transportation and medical-related expenses and help them remain in their home while they focus on Butch’s care and their family.
They are not people who find it easy to ask for help, but they are deeply grateful for every prayer, encouraging word and gift. If you are able to give, any amount will be a blessing. Most of all, please pray for healing, wisdom for the medical team, strength, peace and God’s provision in the days ahead.
