Tommy Oglesby has been my handyman for over 20 years. Ten years ago, he and his wife were set to retire. Family circumstances were such that instead of retirement he and his wife answered the call to step up and adopt his three small grandchildren. Last month, he was working steadily for me and others when suddenly he was nowhere to be found. Worried, I called a friend who called his wife and found that he was in the ICU with a stroke—his second—things were dire. Knowing that he has a lot of responsibilities and that his ability to work right now is totally diminished, it was while praying that I was prompted to establish a Give-Send-Go account for Tommy. I do believe God has such a good sense of humor to task this to me as I am so low-tech and have little social media presence—I am sending this, therefore, to all my friends in hopes that they will post this on their social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) so that those who are able will send whatever money they can to this dear God centered man.
Thanks to all My friends for help in sharing Tommys story.
