Imagine a child who once struggled to communicate their needs learning to confidently order their own meal at a restaurant, make a friend, or read their first chapter book. These milestones may seem small, but for our students and their families, they are life-changing.
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, communicate, and become as independent as possible. At Achieve Learning Center, we serve children whose unique learning needs often cannot be met in traditional educational settings. Achieve provides individualized instruction designed to help each child reach their fullest potential.
Our specialized educators and therapists create individualized learning plans, teach life and communication skills, and provide the support students need to build confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
Many families struggle to find an educational environment where their children receive the individualized and specialized support they need to thrive. Our year-round program is designed to bridge that gap by combining personalized academics with communication, social, and life-skills instruction in a supportive environment.
Providing individualized education requires highly trained staff, specialized instructional materials, adaptive resources, transportation for community-based learning experiences, and a low student-to-teacher ratio. The annual cost exceeds $30,000 per student. With your contribution at the level of your choice, we will be able to provide these things for our students. Your sponsorship of $100 provides classroom supplies, $250 funds community-based life skills outings, $500 helps purchase adaptive learning materials, and $1,000 helps offset specialized staffing costs.
Parents of special needs children have 10 times the expenses of those with neuro typical children due to specialized therapy, doctors, adaptive equipment needs and many other expenses. Our goal at Achieve Learning Center is to serve all families who need our structured, yet flexible environment and loving limits. The state of Texas has extremely limited resources to help special needs families. This campaign will help provide scholarships to families who otherwise could not provide the environment their child needs and deserves to learn, grow and thrive.
