NO PATRIOT SHOULD BE LEFT BEHIND!
IMPORTANT UPDATE
My previous fundraiser was created and managed on my behalf by someone else, and that campaign is now being closed.
Unfortunately, my recovery and financial needs have not ended.
I am now creating this fundraiser so I can personally manage it moving forward and continue asking for the help I still desperately need.
To everyone who donated, shared my story, supported me, and prayed for me through the previous fundraiser: thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support has helped carry me through an incredibly difficult time.
I’ve been fighting this for a long time, but I’ve reached a point where I simply cannot do this alone anymore.
Nearly two years after the accident, I am still waiting for disability benefits and have had no income since the accident happened.
MY STORY
I have spent my life serving others—both human and canine.
As a dedicated K9 trainer, handler, and Kennel Master for a Boston-area federal law enforcement K9 unit, I was responsible for the daily care, training, and readiness of working dogs tasked with protecting this country. My work supported missions tied directly to national security.
I was always the one who showed up.
The one who held the line.
The one others depended on.
WHAT HAPPENED
On October 29, 2024, my life changed in an instant.
I was involved in a catastrophic car accident and was ejected more than 40 feet from my vehicle.
My injuries were severe and life-altering, including:
- A shattered upper left humerus
- A shredded radial artery and radial nerve
- Lacerations to my liver and spleen
I survived.
But surviving the accident was only the beginning of the battle.
⚠️ MY CURRENT REALITY
I am still in the fight.
Since the accident, I have undergone several surgeries and extensive medical treatment for my injuries. My most recent surgery was on May 18, 2026, and I am now facing a lengthy recovery from that surgery.
There are no additional surgeries currently planned, but my recovery is far from over.
I have been unable to return to work, and the damage to my left arm continues to significantly affect my everyday life.
At the same time, the financial pressure has become overwhelming.
I still have to find a way to cover:
- Rent
- Groceries
- Transportation to medical appointments
- Basic living expenses
I have had zero income since the accident and am still waiting for disability assistance.
This isn't a short-term setback.
This has become a long, exhausting fight to recover and rebuild my life.
WHY I AM ASKING FOR HELP
Asking for help is incredibly difficult for someone who has spent her life being the person others could depend on.
But I have reached the point where I cannot carry this alone anymore.
I am still fighting.
I am still trying to recover.
And I am still holding onto faith that I will make it through this.
But right now, I need help.
A PERSONAL NOTE
«“I’ve always been the one who held the line…
but right now I’m on my knees.
I’m still fighting. I’m not giving up.
But I need help to get through this.”»
HOW YOU CAN HELP
If you are able to help, there are three things that would mean more to me than I can express:
Donate — Whatever you can give will help with basic living expenses while I continue my recovery.
Share — Even if you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser could put it in front of someone who can.
Pray — Please keep me, my recovery, and the road ahead in your prayers.
Every donation, every share, and every prayer matters.
FINAL WORD
I spent years helping protect and serve others.
Today, I am fighting a very different battle.
I am still here.
Still fighting.
Still believing.
Still refusing to give up.
I have always been a fighter and a survivor, but even fighters sometimes need people standing beside them.
If you can help me through this chapter—whether through a donation, a share, or a prayer—I will be deeply grateful.
No patriot should be left behind.
Thank you for standing with me.
God bless you, and thank you for helping me keep fighting.
