Dear kind hearts,
My name is Deborah, and I am writing this with a broken heart and trembling hands as the mother of Elizabeth, our precious 3 years-old daughter.
Elizabeth was born a fighter. From the moment she arrived, she filled our home with light, giggles, and endless love. But behind that beautiful smile is a tiny heart that is struggling to keep up. Doctors have diagnosed her with complex congenital heart defects (a Hole in the heart). Without urgent open-heart surgery, her little body is slowly failing.
Every day we watch her grow weaker. She tires easily, struggles to breathe, and cannot play like other children her age. The doctors have made it clear: time is running out. The only hope is corrective open-heart surgery that must be done as soon as possible.
We have already spent everything we have on tests, medications, and hospital visits. As ordinary parents, we simply do not have the means to raise this amount on our own. Watching our child suffer while knowing that surgery can give her a normal, healthy life is the most painful experience of our lives.
We are humbly appealing to you family, friends, and compassionate strangers to help us save Elizabeth. Every naira, every share, every prayer matters. Your kindness can give our baby the second chance at life that she so desperately needs.
Please, if you can donate any amount, no matter how small, it will bring us closer to the operating table. And if you cannot give, kindly share this campaign so that more people can see Elizabeth’s story.
Thank you from the depths of our hearts.
With love and hope,
Deborah & Family
Mother of Elizabeth
