Mary Tuel is a single mom preparing to begin five weeks of radiation and chemotherapy this week to treat cervical cancer. The encouraging news is that Mary’s prognosis is excellent! Now it’s our turn to rally around Mary and give her some of the support she has so freely given others.
If you know Mary, you know she’s the first to show up when someone needs help. She has a heart as big as her mouth. She’s the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone else, and now we have an opportunity to do that for her.
Although her prognosis is excellent, treatment comes with financial challenges. Mary has been advised to consider additional immune-support medications that are not covered by insurance. While these medications are optional, donations will help make them more affordable, along with covering the costs of dietary changes, transportation to and from treatments, and time away from work.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference. Our hope is to ease some of the financial stress so Mary can focus on treatment, healing, and getting back to being her wonderful, outspoken self.
