Severe drought and frost linked to El Niño have devastated food gardens in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea, leaving families facing critical food shortages and reported deaths. We are raising A$37,500 to provide emergency food relief to approximately 2,400 families across the Sa, Mian and Golin tribes in Gumine District, Simbu Province. Just A$17–$20 can provide a family with a 10kg bag of rice, enough for approximately 2–3 weeks. Working with local village leaders, we will coordinate the purchase and distribution of rice to affected families. Donations, however small, will help put food on the table during this crisis. A report on funds raised and relief distributed will be shared with givers. Please donate, share this fundraiser and keep these communities in your prayers. On behalf of our village leaders and families, thank you for your kindness and generosity. May God bless you!
