Hi everyone. I’m reaching out to ask for a little help during a difficult but hopeful time. I really hate to give the sob story, but here it is briefly...
This past year I've been in and out of the hospital. First time with Pancreatitis which led to having my gall bladder removed. The second time with Sepsis and I almost didn't makes it, but thankfully I am doing much better now. Then I was on disibility again for severe mental health issues. I spent months working on myself and ultimately got back on track mentally. Unfortunately I fell behind financially, ultimately leading to the loss of my apartment and now my car.
I'm a single mother (my son's father passed away) living in a hotel with my 14-year-old son since July, and we’ve finally been given an opportunity to move into a house rental. This would mean so much to us and to finally give my son a stable place to call home ❤️
The loss of my car has added to the fuel. I used my car to get my son to and from school amongst everyday errands. We just need a solid roof over our heads and a vehicle to get from A to B as Ubers and car rentals are expensive and busses only go so far. We will have a lot of running around to do and a lot of items to transport when the house is ready in the very near future.
If you are able to contribute anything toward the deposit or vehicle, no matter how small, it would truly help us get into our new home and transportation. If you’re not in a position to donate, simply sharing this message or keeping us in your thoughts would mean the world to us.

UPDATE:
I wasn't going to share this anymore, but here I am. On top of everything else, on 10/12 I was let go from my job of almost 22 years. I can't even be mad or sad at this point. Maybe these things are happening for a reason? 🤷🏻♀️ It's going to be a minute before I figure out which income will be coming in. We thankfully have secured a beautiful home thanks to an old friend, and still working on that car for transportation 🚗
I can only imagine it will be difficult being 49 trying to find a job after being at the same one for so long. Maybe I'll finally do something fun for a change that I enjoy 🤓 Thinking positive is all we can do at this point.
