Friends and family,

On Wednesday, March 11th, Nathaniel suffered a serious heart attack. Medical teams intervened with 2 stents, but he arrested and has required escalating care. Currently, he is at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in ICU on ECMO/Impella and a ventilator. As you can imagine, this has been quite a traumatic event and has left Colleen and her children very concerned about Nathaniel.  

If you know the Lane family, you know they are the kind of people who quietly show up when it matters most. They’re the first to bring a meal when life gets heavy, the ones who will stop everything to pray with you right there on the phone, and the family you can call when you’re in a pinch and need someone to watch your kids. Their home isn’t just a house—it’s a place where everyone is welcome, where an extra chair is always pulled up to the table, and where people are loved well.

The Lane family has a way of making people feel seen, supported, and cared for in the most genuine way. Their generosity, faith, and servant hearts have touched so many lives. They don’t do it for recognition—they simply live out kindness every single day. And anyone who knows them knows just how big of a blessing they are to this community.

The source of their servant hearts and unwavering loyalty to loving people – Jesus – is the One who now is sustaining them during this awful circumstance. They feel all the prayers of those who are lifting them up and the many friends and family who have sacrificed already to be there for them in more ways than one. They ask that we continue to bring Nathaniel up to the only One who can rescue, save, and heal. The Lord gives new hearts spiritually, but we ask now for Him to restore Nathaniel’s heart physically.

Please pray for Nathaniel’s stability, heart function recovery, and kidneys to continue functioning. Pray for wisdom and diligence in all providers attending to him.

Pray for Colleen and the children – to give them hope, peace, and trust in God’s hand in this situation.

Ultimately, prayers for him to come back home to his family!

We know this will be a long recovery, so we are asking during this time for prayer support, but also practical needs support. This is why this fundraiser was setup – to help lift the load of everyday life of having to pay bills so they have what they need during this time without worrying.
