My home is being sold, and at the same time I have lost all of my government assistance as of today. I am now facing the urgent need to move with my three children by January 1st while also trying to stay on top of rent and utilities as I save to move.
I am doing my best to hold things together for my children, but losing our housing and assistance at the same time has put us in a very difficult position.
The funds from this fundraiser will help me stay current on rent, utilities & food (since losing my benefits) while I try to save for deposit and moving costs so I can get my children through this transition and meet our most immediate needs.
Yes I do have a job, but it doesn't even cover my utilities. Not looking for a handout, but rather a hand up.
