Hi, I'm Adonis Johnson. I'm raising funds to cover moving costs as I relocate from Albany to Rochester, NY for an AmeriCorps position with a legal aid organization in the area.
I've been an AmeriCorps member in various programs over the past three years. I've served as a 6th grade math mentor in Connecticut, an events/programming coordinator for a North Carolina Habitat for Humanity affiliate, and recently completed an AmeriCorps VISTA term through Siena University AmeriCorps VISTA program. I have been getting by on my remaining savings from my AmeriCorps VISTA stipend to pay for ongoing expenses while living in Albany. This move is an important step forward, and I'm asking for help with the costs of getting there. My current lease in Albany ends October 23 as I'm also planning the move to Rochester around the same day in preparation for this new AmeriCorps role.
Your support would mean so much to me as I take on this next chapter. Thank you for standing with me.
