Medical Monitors for Our Sweet Elsie

We are raising funds for medical monitoring equipment for our sweet Elsie, who is almost 3. Elsie has been having silent or absent seizures since she was 6 1/2 months old, and she has been managed well with medications. We almost hit the one-year mark of her being seizure free when Jason and I experienced something that will not soon be forgotten. On Tuesday night, Elsie had a tonic-clonic, or grand mal, seizure. Her first symptom was uncontrollable vomiting, and she became non-verbal and lost her vision followed by convulsions. Due to this new development and this new type of seizure, we are trying to raise money for monitors that would detect these symptoms and any abnormal movements and alert us immediately.
